Firecrest sightings in Alex park continue! A male and female, it seems.

Excited twitchers from as far afield as Durham have been peering into the trees south of the pond, straining their ears to hear the high pitched call of the male.

Firecrest are on the amber list for conservation. It’s rare to get them this far north.
