hedgehog help

Hedgehogs have declined by a quarter over the last decade, with habitat loss thought to be a contributing factor.
Hedgehog Street is a new project to link up hedgehog-friendly habitats between neighbouring gardens in urban environments. Click here to visit the website and order a pack to make your street good for hedgehogs.
The Mammal Society is trialling a new National Hedgehog Tracking Survey using tracking tunnels that capture the footprints of the mammals that pass through it. The website provides instructions on how to build one  – see here
It would be great to do this as part of our activities for Mcr Science Festival – we could put in various locations over a period of time. Please get in touch if you’re up for helping build one. Would be fun to get together one day and do it.
